Q: I am having trouble getting SNAC to work with the Multisystem.  I tested with both Genesis and SNES adapters but the controllers don't register any input.  My J17 jumper is on 5v and the SW7 switch is on IO6.  The SNES core is a simple one to test.  In your own setup, did you just enable SNAC in the SNES core and it worked with no problems?

A: You can find information about the SNAC port on page 49 of the Multisystem manual (Link to latest manual can be found here).

Standard SNAC adapters will work with MMS and the configuration you're describing has been tested and should be fine. Note that you do not need to use a SNAC level shifter dongle as this is built into MMS. Please have a check of the manual and ensure you have SNAC enabled in the core menu options.
